The problem

Mass manufacturing was never built for the human body.

$47B

in retail apparel returns each year — driven by sizing misfit, not taste or quality.

92Mt

of textile waste annually — 92 million tons, much of it apparel that never fit anyone.

70%

of apparel returns are driven by poor fit, not taste or quality. The size label was always a guess.

Essence

NOT a virtual try-on.

NOT a fit recommender.

NOT a body scanner.

WE ARE a precision fabrication platform.

Any design. Any body. One pipeline.

Our approach

From body to product,
in four moves.

Depth Capture

A real hand is captured through a vertical phone scan — anatomical input, not a sizing guess.

Mesh Reconstruction

Discrete points converge into a hand-shaped cloud, resolve into a mesh hand, then close into complete geometry.

Digital Artifact Fitting

A watertight white mold becomes the fitting reference, then the glove resolves onto the individual form.

Manufacture

CNC-guided assembly produces the fitted artifact before the real product lands.

Technology & IP

The pipeline is the moat.
The patents protect it.

Issued

US 12,420,487 B2

Depth-sensor body capture from consumer hardware

A method for assembling a dense, metrically-accurate point cloud of a body region using TrueDepth or LiDAR sensors already shipping on consumer phones — no studio rig, no proprietary capture device.

Issued

US 11,763,512 B2

AI reconstruction and deformation of the digital product for fabrication

An AI pipeline that reconstructs a watertight digital mold from sparse consumer-grade capture, then deforms the digital product to the individual’s geometry — producing manufacturable, fitted output ahead of final fabrication.

Pending Filed 2026

Provisional · Feb 2026

Solo Foot Capture Method

A capture method that derives full foot geometry from a single-camera consumer scan — extends the depth-capture pipeline to lower extremities for footwear fit.

Fit is where we start. The pipeline we are building does not end there.

Research
